When you're finished working on your tan, walk over to the Life Saving Club on the eastern end of the beach where giant statues of Kwun Yum and Tin Hau (guardians of fishermen) sit in a shrine amongst colorful and ornate Chinese architectural structures and details. As can be expected in Hong Kong, everyone wants a chance to rub the God of Wealth statue. Truth be told, none of it looks authentic and there's a fantasy-like quality to it all.
