The ride was much more than we bargained for as we were able to see both the good and bad sides of life in the harbor as well as the astonishingly rapid development of nearby Ap Lei Chau Island (Duck's Tongue Island). |

I guess it's true what they say … you can't stop "progress". The boat captain told us "the government paid to move most of the boat people away, several thousand dollars and a government apartment in return for your boat." |
