We like to walk around instead to see sights such as the Pak Tai Temple (first built 1783), popular Tung Wan beach, Kwun Yam Wan beach, and the island's beautiful walkways and natural rock formations. Be sure to check out the amateur windsurfers here who are inspired by Cheung Chau's very own Olympic gold medalist Lee Lai-Shan (windsurfing in 1996). During your walk, look for the Cheung Po Tsai Cave where the famous 19th century pirate supposedly hid his treasures. Finish it all off with a skewer of Cheung Chau's fabulous fishballs, a classic Hong Kong street-food.
