As you approach the town of Kapaa, look west towards Nounou Mountain and you'll recognize the famous profile of what locals have nicknamed the Sleeping Giant.
The giant's head is towards Wailua, and his feet located on the side of Kapa'a. Lucky for us, the giant ate a large feast (according to legend, he ate rocks thrown at him by Menehunes) and won't be waking up any time soon.
