As you continue north of Kapa'a on Highway 56, you'll leave the busiest parts of Kauai behind and pass beach after unique beach. Popular Kealia Beach is located immediately after mile marker 10.
The powerful waves at 1/2 mile long Kealia make it a hit with local surfers and boogie board riders. Pull in carefully right off the curving highway to check out the surf action.
