After a day of fun in the sun, head back towards Highway 56 and point your car in the direction of laid-back Hanalei. The Highway now becomes 560 and the mile marker once again starts at 0. Immediately past the gas station, look for photogenic Hanalei Lookout on the left side of the road. |

From this vantage point, you'll see Hanalei's famous taro fields spread out before you like a colorful quilt. You may even encounter a magical rainbow on display in the lush valley during your visit. Savor this panoramic view because it is one of the most beloved spots in all of the islands. |
