Mount Makana (also known as Bali Hai from South Pacific) serves as a beautiful backdrop to your very own movie. One of the most memorable moments in our lives was witnessing (quietly and from a distance) a pair of Hawaiian monk seals wake up and move gracefully into the water exactly as the sun dipped into the horizon. |

For the next ten minutes or so, the seals, an endangered species, swam a loving and acrobatic "dance" right by the ocean's edge. We were humbled to have been touched and reminded of nature's wonders in this breathtaking manner. |
