The Museum originally served as a public library in 1924 and today plays host to special exhibitions by Hawaiian artists such as master wood-turner Robert Hamada.
The most beautiful orchids can also be purchased at the museum's lawn on Fridays and Saturdays or at Kukui Grove Shopping Center during the Kauai Orchid Society's scheduled shows.
