As Senator J. Kalani English said in an interview published in The Maui News, residents "may supplement the group's diet with traditional fishing, hunting, gardening, gathering and sharing. It's subsistence living. It's the Molokai way." Animals that are hunted for food on Molokai include feral pigs, goats, sheep, Axis Deer and game birds. |
