Found here by the tall and dramatic sea cliffs of southwestern Lanai are a lonely lighthouse and the ruins of an ancient royal fishing village, inhabited in the summers by King Kamehameha the Great himself. Stone platforms, homes, and petroglyphs have been identified along with a temple (and place of refuge) called Halulu Heiau. |
