At Mokuleia Bay near mile marker 32, look for the stairway that will lead you down to the shores of (don't worry) Slaughterhouse Beach. Just around the bend is Honolua Bay, with good snorkeling and diving year-round. |

This area is designated as the Honolua-Mokuleia Conservation District, so you're guaranteed to see plenty of colorful fishes. When the waves are high, Honolua Bay calls out to visitors of a different nature - Maui's daring surfers. |
