Leaving Kipahulu, the unpaved road leads past spectacular panoramas to arrive at the ranching and fishing community of Kaupo Village. Fewer than 30 full-time residents continue to live in this magnificent outpost.
The beautiful and isolated Hui'aloha Church, built in 1857, sits alone facing the open seas with small Mokulau Beach fronting the dramatic shoreline.
