North of Lahaina on HI 30 is the resort area of Ka'anapali. Mostly sugar and pineapple fields until the early 1960s, Kaanapali was the first successful master planned family resort in Hawaii. Today, it is known for its great beach, fantastic shopping, and the challenging Ka'anapali Golf Courses. |
