The road north now changes names from Kahekili to Kamehameha Highway, even though it is still known as Highway 83. The surrounding scenery is incredibly lush as the road begins to hug the shoreline ever closer. You'll soon reach 150-acre Kualoa Regional Park and its long, white-sand beach on the north shore of Kaneohe Bay. |

This beach park is never crowded and the view of Mokoli'i islet (locally known as Chinaman's Hat) in the distance is stunning. Just past the park is family owned Kualoa Ranch, known for their fun horseback rides and great outdoor adventures. |
