Moku'aula Island (Goat Island) sits off of Laie Point and is a seabird sanctuary.  Look for the photogenic natural sea arch on one of the nearby small islands.  It was formed by the force of the April Fool's Day tsunami of 1946. Laie Point offers a magnificent view of the Windward Coast that you have been exploring.  If you're in search of solitude, mile-long Malaekahana State Park and its beautiful beach are yours for the taking just down the road.
