Visitors will first watch a 23-minute documentary film on Pearl Harbor and World War II before taking a short boat trip to the USS Arizona Memorial, a 184-foot long structure that sits above the sunken battleship.  Despite the number of visitors, everyone is quiet and contemplative during the tour. It is an unforgettable experience to stand in the peaceful Shrine Room and study the marble plaque that lists the names of the 1,177 sailors and marines who went down with the ship.
