Take a much-needed break from the stuffiness of indoor shopping and gaming by walking just a few minutes to the incredible urban park called Gardens by the Bay.  With three public gardens measuring in at 101 hectares, this is the Singapore National Parks department’s bold initial attempt to recreate Singapore as a “City in a Garden”. The Gardens by the Bay (specifically the cooled conservatories) was awarded the World Building of the Year prize at the World Architecture Festival in 2012.
