Just as Highway 19 begins to curve southward, look for the connection to Highway 240 that will lead you north to the quaint downtown district of Honoka'a town. The vintage-style buildings in Honokaa seem to have been frozen in time, and there are wonderful local stores to visit and purchase provisions from.
