Approximately 1/2 mile past mile marker 11, look for the access to Kumukumu "Donkey" Beach. The beach is named in honor of the donkeys that were used by local plantation workers to transport their sugar cane.
It takes a bit of a walk down towards the shoreline to access secluded Donkey Beach, which may explain its popularity with surfers and some nudists.
