It's rare to see more than one or two cars in either direction, so just slow down and enjoy the ride...you're on Molokai now. As you drive along the south shore, look out upon Hawaii's "longest continuous fringing reef" at 28-miles in length. Keep an eye out as well for many of the island's famous centuries-old ancient fishponds (stone and coral wall structures built to catch fish) such as 'Ualapu'e Fishpond that are still in use today. Molokai continues to be an island where real people live in very real ways.
