A bit further on at 2913 Pali Highway is the Queen Emma Summer Palace, a country home once belonging to King Kamehameha IV's consort. Originally built in 1848, the property is now a museum that houses a fascinating collection of Queen Emma's "belongings, furnishings, artifacts, and memorabilia."
