Continue driving on the Farrington Highway (93 and then 930) until the road peters out after Makua Beach (where Iz's ashes were scattered) and Yokohama Bay (aka Keawa'ula Beach).  Nicknamed in honor of local Japanese fishermen, Yokohama Bay is one of the most peaceful places on Oahu. A tiring 5-mile roundtrip hike from here will take you to Kaena Point State Park, the westernmost point of the island.  We grabbed a front-row seat on the white sandy beach and watched with admiration as the expert surfers tamed the waves.
