Today, Iolani Palace is a National Historic Landmark that can be visited by all to learn more about Hawaii's rich history and heritage. The Royal Hawaiian Band, first established by King Kamehameha III in 1836, still performs a free concert every Friday at noon on the grounds of the Palace. |
