A non-sectarian chapel located within the Memorial is a quiet location for war veterans and survivors to reflect and contemplate. During one of our visits, we came upon a tearful elderly veteran singing a haunting song for someone who was close to his heart. The gentleman's breaking voice and that very touching moment has been etched into our memories forever.
