While at Kapiolani Park, look for the Waikiki Shell, a great venue for outdoor concerts. Old timers fondly remember that the world-famous Kodak Hula Show was performed right here at Kapiolani Park from 1937 until its end as the Pleasant Hawaiian Hula Show in 2002. It was the final chapter of a beautiful tradition.
