At St. Augustine by the Sea Catholic Church (130 Ohua Avenue), look for the touching display in the back room on Father Damien of Molokai and his work with Hawaiians afflicted with leprosy (aka Hansen's Disease) in the late nineteenth century. No matter your background or religious affiliation, it is truly inspirational to learn of Father Damien's sacrifice.
